Information we store

Teyo Player stores the MAC Address shown by the app, whether it came from device hardware or a stable app-generated fallback, a one-way hash of the Device Key, activation status, and technical timestamps.

Your playlist

The M3U URL you submit is encrypted at rest. It is returned only to the matching app after it presents the correct MAC Address and Device Key.

Payments

Stripe or PayPal processes payment details, depending on the provider selected by the website operator. Teyo Player stores transaction identifiers and payment status, but does not store full card numbers.

Visitor statistics

The site counts page views and approximate daily visitors using a rotating one-way hash made from technical request data. Raw IP addresses are not stored.

Purpose and retention

This information is used to activate the purchased device and deliver its playlist. It is retained while the activation remains in use or as required for payment, fraud-prevention, accounting, and legal obligations.
